What Is
Release?

RELEASE is a product used in producing wells to increase production flow rates. It is engineered to address one of the most persistent challenges in well production — formation damage — by penetrating the formation and freeing restricted flow pathways.

The product can be used in a batch process, or through continuous injection, either via a CTS or strictly by adding the product on a frequent basis to a "pot" dump mechanism often used in the pumpjack system. This flexibility makes RELEASE adaptable to a wide range of field conditions and operational preferences.

RELEASE will assist in correcting formation damage due to paraffin and/or asphaltene. Formation damage may not always be caused by higher molecular weight hydrocarbon chained molecules — however, RELEASE will many times release the hydrocarbon trapped within the formation and produce an increase in flow rate.

Formation damage is one of the leading causes of reduced well productivity. Paraffin and asphaltene deposits restrict flow pathways within the formation, choking production and increasing lifting costs over time.

Paraffin deposits: Waxy solids that precipitate from crude oil as temperature drops, coating tubing walls and plugging perforations to restrict flow.

Asphaltene deposits: Heavy, tar-like molecules that flocculate and deposit within the formation and wellbore, causing severe and often difficult-to-treat damage.

Unknown damage causes: Even when the root cause is unclear, RELEASE has proven effective at releasing trapped hydrocarbons and restoring flow rates.
